As Senior Designer, I partnered with the City of Madison to shape the visual identity for the new public market—a space designed to celebrate diversity and bring people together. From the start, our focus was on community: researching local culture and history, and conducting focus groups to ensure every voice was reflected in the brand. The final identity blended the market’s rustic charm with a vibrant, inclusive spirit, creating a unifying story that honors Madison’s traditions while embracing its diverse future. All in all, our collaborative effort resulted in a unique and recognizable visual identity that captured the spirit, values, and goals of the new public market in Madison, Wisconsin.
